Okay here is the law:

Georgia: 18, 15 with parental consent, 16 without parental consent if pregnant.

Okay my little sis is 17 years old, and she's pregnant does she have to have proof of pregnancy to get married there or is it just for the state?

  1. If you're going with the pregnancy route, I'd think they'd want something from her doctor. I'm not sure.

  2. i would probably be prepared to show proof of pregnancy. she'll need that in order to get a marriage license...which would make her marriage legal.

(not that i think that her decision to bypass certain laws is a good one. marriage shouldn't be taken lightly....and sneaking around doesn't help her case)

  3. Even if pregnant your sister has no business getting married at 17....both situations are ridiculous.

  4. If you are truly a Nurse, then you should be smart enough to know that it is bad idea for a minor to cross state lines and get married- legal or not.

  5. hahahaha u got alot of  rude answers..you didnt ask for a opinion.
