I am trying to tell my brother that some states would allow you to go to school for free if you live there.

  1. Public school is free for K-12. College costs money unless you are a Florida resident and have the appropriate GPA of 3.0 or above. But you have to go to a public university. We have many fine colleges here.

  2. What kind of school?  Of course, all public schools are free for all kids in the state of Florida (and all states).  If you are talking about college, there are programs such as Bright Futures that help all graduates with a certain grade point average with their college tuition.

  3. If you are talking about k-9 then I think most states have free education?

---Look up and see the chemtrails---

  4. No schooling is free.

You pay for state schools -elementary, secondary, and university- with your taxes.

You pay a h**l of a lot less to homeschool with your wages.

  5. yes as long as u live in the usa u can go to a public school for free............. only if u go 2 a privite school u have 2 pay

  6. If you mean college, you can go for free to a state university if you attended high school in Florida and have a GPA of 3.0 and higher in your academic classes in high school. It is called the Bright Futures Scholarship.  Here is a link:

  7. Maybe you need to add details to your question, such as level of education, etc.

But if I answer the way you asked the question.  Yes.....it is called the public school system.(and it isn't free.  You pay with your taxes!)

  8. Jermaine - what school are you refering to?

If you are talking about cyber school - then yes. There are two state schools that are free - IF you qualify. The main qualification is that you spent the previous year in a public school here in FL. There is the Connections Academy (http://www.connectionsacademy.com/) which is free.

If you are talking about public schools - they are free as well.

Check out the FL Dept. Of Education website -they will be able to help you further! http://www.fldoe.org/
