  1. With a snowmobile.


  2. Snow chains or belts on all four wheels and 4WD or a snowmobile for emergencies. Make friends with a farmer that has a tractor.

  3. Get a 4-wheel drive vehicle or make friends with someone to plow you road. If i remeber right its illegal to run chains on a car/truck in mn on public roads. I live in rual western mn and haven't had any trouble gettins anywhere on roads that haven't been plowed with a 4-wheel drive truck. Buy some good all-season tires cause once the snow melts some gravel roads get really muddy.

  4. Buy chains....Even if you have a 4WD vehicle.

    That would be the best way to maintain power to the wheels and grip to the tires,
