  1. There is no federal law that makes it illegal to play poker online for real money.  The law that the others are mistakenly referring to restricts the way that banks transact with gambling sites.  However, this law has no means of enforcement, and will not for quite some time.

If you are interested in poker online, check http://dagus-statistics.com/reviews.htm for a list of great sites accepting US residents as well as bonus codes to each site's best current bonus.  Check http://dagus-statistics.com/funding.htm for a common list of ways to deposit and withdraw to and from poker sites.  Hope this helps!

  2. Yes president bush is retarded!!!!

  3. You can play poker legally on http://www.spadeclub.com. It is sponsored by cardplayer magazine and if you use the code ACESFULL you can get a two week free trial. It pays real cash prizes when you win. They base it on sweepstakes laws.

You can also play blackjack and poker at http://www.clububt.com, it will show you the prizes that you can play for. It does cost $20 month to join. If you register and enter this code WEC97XUK, it will give you two free weeks on their site. I have a paid membership there and I've won real cash there and they do pay.

Both sites are legal to play at in the USA.

  4. No, its legal. You can play into sites like Fulltilt poker ( read the review at http://bettingwise.hit.bg/FulltiltPoker.... )

This site accepts USA players and simply you can deposit with e-check.

  5. Not the poker just the funding of an account online to play poker or any other wagering. Thats why your CC will be declined. Its the banks. But it is illegal as well

  6. yes but i know a site... there is a link for american players on top right=)

    take a look=)

  7. Playing online poker is completely legal and is done by many in the USA as their sole means of income.

For more information visit the poker players alliance website. They are a poker lobist group in washington.

  8. No it is not illegal.  The US anti online gambling bill that was passed with the port security bill simply restricts how US financial institutions can interact with online gambling sites.  However, horse betting has been excluded from this...how ironic.

Anyways, there are lots of sites that are still open to US players, but making your deposits and cashouts are just a little harder.  For some great free online tournament play for real cash prizes you can check out this site here http://www.easypokermoney.com/pureplay

  9. NO as the others above have said the law only restricts the way that banks transact with gambling sites.
