Our red Dodge SUV, our purple cornish slate front garden, the houses opposite and if I crane my neck the field and trees on the other side of the lane.

i see a dark sky that is about to burst. my front porch with the greek revival poles, a white wicker chair with a white kitten on top, a huge statue,lots of green bushes and pine trees..a red humming bird feeder, dog wood trees,our swing set and my neighbors house across the street.. i love it here..

I'm in Chicago and I'm at work and it just happens to be the weekend of the air and water show. I work just blocks from Lake Michigan so I'm catching all the different crowds of people going to the show. A man walked by with a big green, blue and red parrot sitting on his shoulder, these old ladies passed by, they were wearing pink visors and matching demin fannie packs, a dude about 40, lots of tattoos, a girl walking her dog with a mean look on her face, people on theri bikes, young girls with huge designer purses and over sized sun glasses, familes with stollers and coolers and foling chairs, new couples who look akward, like their trying to have fun but they're both really more nervous than anything.
