  1. most likely yes...lack of fat/protien can make your periods stop temporarily...eat better


  2. Usually, yes.  Try to eat full, healthy meals.  

    In historical perspective, during periods of mass starvation, women in history have lost their menstruation until they were able to eat better.  This prevented pregnancy (NOT a reliable method of birth control, AT ALL) until the body was physically able to handle pregnancy, so the woman didn't die from trying to carry a baby while starving.  During the Holocaust, many Jewish, Romani, and Sinti women in the concentration camps lost their menstruation due to the unimaginably cruel conditions, but most of the few who survived regained their cycles a few months to a couple years after liberation.
