how do i build a animals sanctuary for whales,dolphinsEtc., how much will it cost ANYTHING WILL HELP oh and where should i build it

You would have to ask the government on that one...maybe the national park association can help you out.

Your intention is wonderful, and I am very glad to see you wanting to help. But honeslty, running your own sanctuary is an ENORMOUS responsability. Far too great for anyone to just "start up" like that.

You must have the appropriate land, building resources, educated and zoo-trained staff, vets and medication source, food source, employees, publicity, and most importantly, a hefty fund. You yourself should have a college education in marine animals.

If you are serious, try locating some sanctuaries worldwide, and asking to speak with the managers about how you can get started. I know one of the first steps will be to get governmental approval for the land you wish to build it on, as well as your charity status.

Otherwise, there are already so many existing sanctuaries. Why not try to find some for you to work or volunteer in. Or you can run a fundraiser in your community and donate the money to the sanctuary.

I love animals but, it would cost probably like a million dollars to start a sactuary. I mean think about it. You have to buy the salt water, filters, tanks(which have to be at least 30 feet deep for a dolphin around 200 feet deep for orcas). And then you have to buy a licsene for owning sea animals, and also you must buy the fish to feed them(250 pounds a day for orca) (150 or so for dolphins) Good Luck anyway and if you still need help feel free to email.

Nice enthusiasm but starting a sanctuary would cost like a gazillion bucks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have that kind of cash and experience you should look up where the most injured animals and beached whales are and narrow it down
