A regular stamp if it's a letter. If it's a package then you will have to wrap it up and ask at the post office how much it will cost. Just tell them before they weigh it you want to know the cost first.

You need 1 standard US mail stamp worth 41 cents.  The US mail delivers to anywhere in the country  for the same rate for letters.  Packages are different and depend on weight.  You have to take it to the Post Office to be weighed and stamped.
