  1. $15.625 an hour * 8 hours * 5 days a week *4 weeks * 12 months = $30000.00 a year

the answer is $15.625 an hour

    Best of Luck!

  2. How many hours do you work?

Edit: I'm getting thumbs down for asking someone to provide more information? I was planning on coming back and answering it when I knew how many hours!

    Anyway.

    Assuming you're working a typical 8-hr workday:

    30,000 / 52 weeks per year

    = 576.92 / 5 days per week

    = 115.38 / 8 hours per day

    = 14.42 dollars per hour

Dr O's answer is not right, because there aren't exactly 4 weeks in each month. 4x12=48 weeks, and there are actually 52 weeks in a year.
