  1. admit it and apologise

  2. own up to it!  i mean your human your going to s***w up!

the ones who own up to i like having around because if they s***w up they will tell me and tell me how they plan to fix it!

if you screwed up then KUDO's learn something from it fix it and let others know how you plan on doing so!

it speaks higher of you then trying to blame it on someone else or making up excuses on how it looks!

last time someone made an excuse on why they screwed up i looked them in the eye and said ! Really your car broke down so that's why xyz happened? ummm so i guess it's all better then right!  is your car going to fix it?  "no" okay then maybe you should fix it!

i don't trust anything that comes out of that persons mouth nor do i trust them with a larger project that would help them in the long run!  Why because they are making exscuses!

Lame and pointless i understand that no is perfect and i expect people to s***w up!  what what i hope is they come to me own up to it and be a man if you will and show me how they plan to fix it! Those types are the ones i want on my team!

  3. Admit the mistake and do what you can to rectify it.

  4. Either blame it on someone else or pretend you are insane

  5. I think you've answered your own question. Without hearing any more details than what you've given in your initial question, you should confront the mistake you made. Admit that you made it and take the consequences.

Really, what else could you do? Are you thinking of blaming someone else?

  6. Blame someone else that could be a figure of your imagination or example as happened to me today............. I have an extremely old father (90) but he has all his wits about him.  He pays his gas, electricity and phone at the Post Office with umpteen cards.  This is totally alien to me and only recently since his mobility became difficult have I been doing this.  He then scrutinises the receipts that all is in order. Also he is way, way in advance with everything.  Today I had to pay everything x 2. I told the teller to do it x 3 (I must have been dreaming). There was plenty in the account to cover this and when I realised my  mistake the teller said there was no way it could be put back in the account. I therefore told her just to pay 3 weeks of everything.  On returning to the car with my dad in it I said the teller made a mistake and this was the best way out of it.  He accepted that.  Did I do any harm?  My view it stopped him getting aggitated and 'the teller?'. He hasn't a clue who this would be.

Most of the time nobody has even noticed anything except you .Just carry one as if. Enjoy nobody is perfect.
