I want to make a photo montage for my daughters first birthday, but I want to make sure the program I'm using will allow me to burn a DVD that plays on a regular DVD player (hooked to the TV). It will be played at her party and there will be no computer there!

  1. Yes you can make a photostory in Movie Maker with music, a better program to use is Photostory 3 for windows which may be on your computer already, if not you can download it from microsoft for free

It is very easy to use and steps you through the process of creating your photostory.

In either program your final saved product will be a .wmv (windows media video) which you can then burn to a dvd using your dvd burning software on your pc (like Nero etc, just choose video or movie when it asks you what you want to create)

Have fun and Happy B'day to your little girl... =)

U can email me if u need some help.

  2. yes depending if the format you burn it to is able to be read by the DVd player. MPEG should work nicely
