What would you expect her to be like?

I don't want your opinions of the monarchy, political views, etc.

Just plain and simple, what would you expect her to be like? Personality wise, manners and other traits.

  1. I think she would probably like a good cup of tea and a slice of cake.  She's had four kids and lived through the last war so she's got to have that optimism that lots of people of her age have.  Because of her job she will be a good listener and incredibly polite.

She regularly attends church but has friends of other religions so I think she probably has a modern attitude to most things but probably is not great with computers or other modern technology.  I am pretty sure she likes classical music best and maybe some of the best mainstream acts from popular music like The Beatles and Elvis.

She probably disapproves of bad manners and rudeness.  On matters like this she probably will speak her mind and would tell someone off for swearing or speaking rudely.  This trait is common amongst grandmothers.

  2. I would think Mrs Windsor would be like any other O A P ,a bit forgetful, wrinkley, and like most O A Ps of a certian age always complaining about the youth of today.

Moaning about how hard it is to live on her pension, how its hard to get on the bus at 1530 when all the kids come out of school.

How she ever put up being married to a minor Greek Royal for so long, and that younger generation have no respect for the pensioners.

That she finds shopping so hard on her legs and that all her sons ,have given her nothing but grief,

Mrs Windsor is like any other O A P  and should be treated like one.

The difference between Mrs Windsor and a real life O A P is  that she has never had to struggle through out her life everything has been handed to her on a plate, and I for one would have no desire to meet her

  3. My father has attended the Queen on many occasions during her visits to Canada. She is an excellent conversationalist and is very inquisitive, gracious but also to the point and with an intelligent wit.

Personality-wise she *is* reserved but she exudes dignity and majesty. Of course, her manners are impeccable. She also dotes on Philip and on the plane opted to have him sit in her much more luxurious chair for his comfort.

Also, the Queen is *not* Mrs. Windsor. Even if Windsor was Her Majesty's surname (it isn't, she legally doesn't have one), her married name would be "Mrs Mountbatten". But again, the Queen has no surname. Her only names are Elizabeth Alexandra Mary.

  4. I would imagine her to be polite & intelligent but a little out of touch with how ordinary working people live.

  5. I have heard she is a lovely, charming woman.

  6. a freak in the sheets

  7. obnoxious personality who would faint if she met my kids!!!

  8. A warm , well mannered well educated woman who could converse freely on any subject and who has a terrific sense of humour.
