  1. Maybe, but not very smoothly.  Don't try it.

  2. It's a false question, hoss. You can't mix gasoline with water.  It causes too much partial molar fugacity.

What you can do is add water to your intake manifold.  People have done this many years, to help clean up carbon deposits and sometimes to reduce pinging in high compression engines running on lower octane gas.  I believe some turbo applications actually may have come from the factory with water injection.

You can't burn water.  Here's why:  Water cannot be converted into energy + water, because it's already water.

  3. Water and gas will not mix (water is heavier and will go to the bottom of the tank. The engine will not run on water...duh... so I can't think of any reason some one would to try.A small amount of water on the bottom of the tank probably won't hurt (most cars probably have some) but remember the fuel pump sucks gas from near the bottom of the tank.Don't try it.

  4. If a small amount liek few drops or so get put in then it wont do no harm.. But probably even a cup size of water will possibly do some damage. You may be thinking of Hydrogen and the tal of using H2O to produce HHO which can be used as fuel. But that is only in special cars that use electricity to convert the water into fuel. Thus the reason why they have not came out yet because it is "too expensive". But just in your normal car don't try it.

  5. Gasoline and water will not mix! AND no your car won't run.

  6. if your wondering about those water systems to improve gas millage ,,those put hydrogen into the air flow

they do not mix water with the gasoline

  7. Water is heavier than gasoline..So as soon as the water hit the fuel pump.  You car will stop.   Gasoline produces a fire explosion that keeps your engine running..So no fuel , no exposion.

  8. No. Don't even try it.

  9. its like mixing oil and water, not possible.  Your car will work until it sucks up the water, then you will have very costly repairs.

  10. Ha ha ha ha ha!

    No.

  11. Not really.  In fact you will damage it.  That is why fuel filters and water separaters are put on cars.  Now, water vapor is used as a deterrent to engine knocking but it is controlled, and the devise is wpecially made.  It will not improve mileage, and reduces power but is designed to save blowing up hot rodded engines.
