  1. With U-Haul, you ARE likely to have to stop at REPAIR stations.

Try Penske or Budget or somebody, ANYBODY but U-Haul!

  2. I am in the process of driving a large moving truck to another state right now, actually. We were told that we should stop at weigh stations by the company we rented from, but we've been waved off whenever we stopped at the scales. I hear it varies from state to state, but if you don't want to check or just want to play safe, you probably should. It takes about 3 minutes at most to get waved through, and it's better than getting in trouble if you actually are supposed to stop.

  3. Vehicles do not have to stop at weigh stations unless they have a GVR (gross vehicle weight or weight of vehicle loaded to capacity) of over 24000 pounds, or are commercial vehicles. so...... no.... you don't have to stop at weigh stations.
