If you only had one night between Vienna and Bregenz, where would you go?

I like mountains, small villages, and blondes. Just kidding. I like brunettes, too. Anyway I know very little about cool places to visit briefly in Austria, but will have one night between Vienna and Bregenz (border to border!) during summer. So I need to pick an interesting locale.

I would suggest Salzburg It has some of the locations where The Sound of Music was shot including the house (You can't go inside) and the fountain.

There are tons of places to go in Austria.

I really envy you. Since this d**n war, I can't go this year.

Salzburg is great.  Been there about 6 times.  They have the best beer in the world at the Augustiner Brewery.  However the best place EVER is here...
