Lets say there was only ONE vaccine you had to get for your kitten and/or cat, and that was all you ever had to get, which would you choose and why?

  1. probably the cockcidia vaccine cause even cats and kitten can get it. even if it is indoor cats

  2. Distemper...terrible way for them to die, I've had it happen with foster kittens...

Mine are all indoor cats so rabies etc doesn't concern me...

  3. DEFIANTLY DISTEMPER

  4. Fortunately I live in the UK so I don't have to worry about things like rabies.  The only vaccines we have are against cat flu, enteritus, (excuse spelling) and cat lukemia.

The only thing I ever vacinate against is cat flu and enteritus, it comes in one vaccine.  i've been around cats all my life and I have never heard of one catching lukemia.  The most common cause of death in young unvacinated cats over here is cat flu, so that would always be my number 1 choice.

Also, over here distemper is a dogs disease, i've never heard of cats with distemper and our vets do not vacinate against it in cats.
