does that mean i can just make myself think that something is happening when its not??

like can i make myself think someone likes me?

and someone is staring at me.?

is that possible??

  1. I would answer your question by saying yes. The reason is that by focusing too much in an attempt to analyze a situation then this can lead to hypersensitivity about some issues. The hypersensitivity can lead to distortion of fact. It is always better to step back; look at the true facts and then give yourself space & time before trying to reach a balanced assessment.   2. Stop seeing Mary Jane so much and get some friends. Sitting around in a cramped apartment with your cats isn't healthy for someone who has anxiety coupled with paranoia

  3. It depends on how impressionable you are. Some quacky shrinks actually do this...they employ techniques to make a person think their reality is different, and surprisingly it works for some people. So yes, it can be done (doesn't work for me tho)
