  1. Have a Cav King Charles cross (with a Staffy would you believe).  He's a sweety.  But if yours is showing aggression you have to be firm; let him know who's boss.

  2. Over a period of years I have owned 5 King Charles Spaniels & can honestly say that with each one I have never seen even the slightest hint of aggressive behaviour over food, toys or people. They are among the most placid breeds you can get.

I hesitate to say this but maybe you are the problem & not the dog. Are you teasing the dog with the chew or are you using it as a toy?  When they are puppies, they can give a nasty nip (as can any breed) but will outgrow it with the right treatment & training.

  3. what the h**l is this stupid question doing in royalty?

  4. The most aggressive thing my Cavalier King Charles does is stare at me with her big, brown eyes, pleading for playtime...  or food.

I guess even within a single breed, each individual has a different personality.

  5. not at all, mine (was) so placid and gentle, wouldnt bite a fly.  I can remember when my daughters were little they used to put a cardigan on her and sit her in a swing and she just sat there and let them play with her, just like a little baby.  The gentlest dog Ive ever owned

  6. WHY IS THIS IN ROYALTY??????????????????

  7. i wouldnt give the dog rawhide, my vet told me my king charles werent allowed to have raw hide
