If you contribute to your outstanding debts, even though it may take years to pay off each one, will it be removed from your credit history as a default, or will it remain there until it has been paid off?

  1. It will remain there, but it will be noted "paid in full" when it is paid off, and payments are noted as "payment made on such and such date"
