  1. Yes its only fair...

  2. Hey NO......  that charge is for supplying congestion to you in the form of roadworks, busses stopping at frequent intervals, and other traffic.

Now if it were a free moving traffic charge that would be different, then you'd be entitled to a refund!

  3. yer. buy a bigfoot

  4. No, its a CO2 tax, but they just called it congestion because that sounds better to motorists.

  5. Nope - there'd be four times the amount of traffic if the CG wasn't there. If there are traffic jams anyway, I suggest the charge is still too low.

  6. heres a question for you

is it cheaper to drive say, from the m1 thru london to the brighton road(i think the edgeware road to the  A23,,,but its a while since i did it) or travel around the M25 and add about 25 miles on your journey,,,

does boris or ken know the answer...or should they stick congestion charges where they belong? along with with the rubbish about about green charges,,an extra stealth tax!

add 25 miles to your journey,,more emissions,,,how green is your valley?

  7. Nope, that is how the department of transportation screws you.  There is no guarantee that you are going to get away from the congestion.  It is a messed up situation, I know, but that's how they are going to make their money.

  8. Ha ha - yes, You're right, you blo*dy should.

  9. You pay a congestion charge and you get congestion. You get what you pay for.

  10. h**l yeah...... do they charge even with and e z pass?????

  11. that's funny, no of course not. That would be too simple, or perhaps not. I think that Ken's congestion charge the biggest load of b ollocks that he ever introduced. If it worked why are London streets still jammed.

  12. Just buy a Bigfoot and run over the cars.
