If you pitch i know its not good to throw hard year round so whats a good amount of time to take a break ?

and how does that affect pitching velocity and what can you do to get better while resting with out putting a bunch of wear and tear on your rotator cuff

  1. I normally take off like two months in between baseball seasons, it does wonders for your arm


  2. months between isnt the best thing to do. Dont have to throw like a bullpen or anything, but you can also do long tosses once of twice a week all year long and it makes your arm a lot stronger, if its sore don't work it too hard but you gotta stretch it out, but remember hurting and sore is a big difference. If you're big into the game dont take a months break it makes a wonder to ur arm in a BAD way!!
