When I go to college, I'm considering going into the medical field. I'm not sure where I want to volunteer, either at a library, or at a hospital. Do colleges care where you volunteer? Or is a place preferred than the other?

I'm already doing an internship at a hospital....

  1. Since ur already doing an internship at a hospital and are considering going into the medical field, try volunteering for something that really interests you and something you'll enjoy doing. My 16 yr. old daughter loves animals, she's always trying to bring home strays, so I got her to volunteer at our local animal hospital. She loves it.

  2. ur already doin the internship, so i think its ok if u diversify ur experience somewhere else.

  3. I don't think colleges care where you volunteer as long as you show you are dedicated to it and have a passion for it. Volunteering at 50 different organizations for 1 hour is not as good as volunteering at one organization for 50 hours. Colleges don't care what organization, they want to see what YOU care about.
