If you plan on going to an outstate college can you become a resident before the first year or at least after the first year so you dont have to pay more than double the price for that college?

  1. I think it depends on where you pay your taxes and in which state you legally reside (driver's license, pay income taxes, etc)

      


  2. If you plan to attend a college where you would have to pay out-of-state tuition, you need to contact the Director of Financial Aid at that college with that question. Different states and sometimes different universities/colleges within a state have differing regulations.
