  1. keep your stick on the ice!!!!!!!

  2. Work your *** off every time your on the ice. If you are already good you will become great and if you arent good youll at least have the respect of you teamates. Not to mention its just disrespectful to the game to not put everything into it

  3. LEARN

    TO

    SKATE

  4. Always keep your head up. Try not to look down when stickhandling. If you don't keep your head up while on the ice, you're going to get hit. You'll get hit hard.

  5. As a goalie; always put your previous game behind you. This is obvious for the games where you let in 12 goals, but some goalies like to bring the energy from a shutout into the next game and it is a dumb way to play. You have to start off every game with a clean slate because teams adjust to your previous performance, and if you are still in that state of mind; you might as well not be there...

  6. When in doubt shoot the puck. Play your role, nothing more. Nothing less. Most of all, have fun! Hockey is a beautiful sport

  7. be selfish with the puck and you be good as ovechkin? its true thats the only reason he got 65 goals doest pass often when he has the puck he usually shoots it and that brings up my next important piece of advice which is always get the puck to the net if you don't you will have no chance of scoring. i know that is a old hockey saying but its a good advice i got from my coach.

  8. LEARN

                 TO

                      SKATE

nothing like playing in beer league with / against adults who can't even lace up their boots then wonder why their head is closer to the ice than the boards, and why their stick is closer to my face than the puck .. ugh ugh ugh !!!!

  9. If you are going to lay down in front of a 95 mph slap shot, make sure you are wearing a cup. That puck can hurt!

  10. Keep focused.

  11. Give 100% all the time! Be a team player, and keep your head up.

  12. Don't smoke crack for at least 4 hours before game time.

  13. Practice, practice , practice. Work hard as well. It will pay off

  14. Pass the puck.
