  1. Just depends on your club path to the ball.

Drawing or fading the ball is done with grip, not ball postioning.

The only thing putting the ball back in your stance will do is keep it lower.

  2. neither if you swing correct then will hit the ground first then the ball

  3. probably left because you wont have time to get your club face square at impact

  4. The answer is that it will react differently for different people. The ball is played back in the stance for a lower trajectory generally. One problem that can occur is that the club face could be left open at impact sending the ball to the right (for right handed players). Another thing is that you could leave too much weight on your back foot and not get much distance.

You should play the ball back in your stance to keep the ball low when it is windy or if there is an obstacle like a tree that you need go under.

  5. if you swing correctly neither. it will have the same path your other shots have. it WILL however (and this is the only reason why you would play it back in your stance) make the ball fly lower.

  6. If you can maintain your swing plane in line with your target your ball will go straight ahead, but you you change your swing plane from 'in to out' your ball will go left; from 'out to in' then your ball will fade to the right. Your ball will come out low due to a de-lofting effect on your clubface.

  7. depends on your swing and the person but on the average joe it will tend to go left

  8. I would think that it would tend to go to the right.  If the ball is back in your stance your club face is more likely to still be open at contact.

  9. most always to the right, but thats only if ur swing is off! with the ball in the back of your stance your hands must move quicker so that your club face is closed at contact! i usually only play the ball in the back of my stance when the pin placement is in the back or with strong winds in my face! but thats me.

  10. It wont necessarily go left or right, but it will cause a low flying punch shot.  This is useful if you're off the green 20 or less yards.
