If you pose as someone on aim will you get arrested?

If she is benefiting in anyway from it, yes she can get into trouble.  She can either be charged with identity theft or can be sued for fraud.

No she can't. She is not commiting identity theft or fraud, it's just AIM! She can not get arrested. She can get arrested if she harrases people, or tries to get, let's say, money from people pretending she is someone else. Otherwise, it's not a big deal, and who is going to believe they are talking to the jonas brothers on the internet anyway, that's just stupid.

Not unless she impersonates them for financial gain.  That would be Fraud, and she might get in trouble if discovered.
