If you prefer to shop online auctions, why?

Do you prefer to shop online or go out to the stores to buy items like books, electronics, cds, etc.? What are your reasons?

If it's clothing, I usually like to try them on first.  But, with 3 young kids, online ordering has a huge appeal.  It's far easier to keep track of my kids at home!

I've also found some great deals online, especially with electronic items.  I helped a friend buy a laptop with a $600 coupon!

I like both... things are usually cheaper online... and u can have huge variety available on internet. But shopping from stores is more exciting.. it gives a gr8 feeling :)
