If you pumped milk?

hi ladies. i guess i am asking mainly only if you HAVE used both manual, and electric pumps. which one did you prefer, and what brands do you prefer? thanks. blessings

I did use both.  I much prefered the electric.  My hand would cramp using the manual, and I did not get much out.  I guess some would depend on how often you were pumping.  I was pumping for all feedings, as breastfeeding did not work.  I used the Lansinoh pump at the recommendation of my LC.  It is very affordable and worked great.  It is small, easily transported (runs on batteries or plugged in), and would pump alot of milk.  Good luck with whatever you choose!

i used both a manual and electric. i prefer the electric. the manual wasnt as effective (gerber). i bought that for when i was on the go, but it wasnt really pumping much.  i had a playtex double electric

I prefered electric... but if you want a good one you gotta spend a little more on it. My sister in law rented one from the hospital and she said it was the best! I bought the lasanoal (i know i spelled it wrong... its the brand that has everything in purple) and it worked amazing for me. The manual pumps are tiring.
