If you purchase beer and its the wrong kind....?

can you return it for something else at the same store or are you stuck with whatever you got...same thing for liquor...please help, me n my boyfriend are having a small dispute over this!?!?!?

probably depends on how well you know the ppl. my husband returned a case that i bought (wrong kind...go figure) but they know us there. it seems they would not return beer but idk for sure the actual RULES

Actually I work at a liquor store in NY state and you cannot return bottles once you left the store.

We will do exchanges if someone broke something right outside, or the wine is bad etc. but you cant come back in 2 days saying you got the wrong kind, its against NY state law.

I'm pretty sure the same rules apply for beer.

But we have some wacky laws here so pending where you live you might be able to.

Definitely yes( if you still have receipt and you didn't open it) they must be able to return it for something else they must!!

If not talk to the manager(remember not to the "cleaner" who just works their and will tell you they can not, but talk to the boss manager of all this liquor shop if he still says no go to higher person manager of all liquor stores) I'm sure high person will not consider it like a big deal and will return you for sure.

It would depend on if you opened any. if you did the answer would be no. Also make sure you have the receipt.

We purchased a keg in NC at Brew Thru and they took it back. No questions asked.
