If you put a plant on the ground without burying it, would it survive?

it depends what type of plant it is because usually plants use the roots to anchor themselves into the ground so they can gain the nuitrents. the plants that can are those bushes that flower out of the pots. ithink they r called flowing somethings

hmm most likley no most plants have to have their roots in burried under the ground otherwise it will not get enough nutrition even if u water it but it would survive for up to a week to a month
