If you put an apple tree's limb onto an orange tree, will the limb still make regular apples?

    And from what I understand of it, the plants need to be similar for a graft to take successfully.

    Apples & oranges are from 2 totally different sorts of plants & rarely grow in the same climates.

  3. You can only graft plants from similar species. Apples and oranges are way too different. You could graft 2 kinds of apple trees, or even 2 kinds of cactuses.But Not apples and oranges.
