On the outside of the package,it's fine, however if you are going to freeze meat for longer than two months,best to wrap tightly in heavy-duty aluminum foil and place in freezer bags.

If you get a little bit of freezer burn you can just cut that meat away and discard,if you get too much coverage,best to toss out.
