  1. Occupation is a job hard to get greedy when some one else dictates how mush you earn . Granted a top actor . sports player. and major media personality can generate a greedy sum . But, they are so few in the total population . Now criminals are another story all together .

  2. All occupations have a point, but most of them would not be done by people who have enough money to live off of.

Janitors keep rooms clean, orderly and sanitary. There is a definitely a point in the occupation. Nobody would do this job without getting paid, but there are people willing to offer money to anybody who wishes to take the job.

If you accept that greed is the biggest motivator for doing work in the first place, you would then have to accept that greed is the biggest force preventing many people from slacking off all day and living off of the state.

  3. Loads, things like nursing, physio, occupational therapy, speech therapy, the fire service are NOT motivated by greed or ego. And what about teaching, that's hardly about greed is it? Where would you be if there was no one willing to work on the check outs at the supermarket, no one willing to empty the bins or drive buses etc. The more I think about it the more ridiculous your question becomes. Of course there are loads of occupations which have a point, and are not motivated by greed. There are very few which are, only things like corporate banking, or managing directors of big company's.

  4. I would like to think mine does. I surely don't do it for the money, I do it to help and protect people.

    Law enforcement

  5. some people call themselves realists. They define being a realist..as only having an education or job..because of money and world demands. not because they have passion in that field.

To be honest i think people intrested in passion have greater motivation in their jobs, than people interested in money.

  6. teaching, to better lives for children

coaching. to win the game takes time and effort to hone the skills. (you didn't say pride)

  7. Well, money was associated with occupations to get people to perform those said duties...so the job came first than the tool for motivation...this question is too specific and only views everything from one perspective...
