If you replaced current royalty what would you like to accomplish?

If if i were king, i would immediately begin reconstituting the empire. And i would initiate a secession plan for my glorious empire. I would need sons and daughters. Many sons and daughters! I would end the current insane influx of foreigners and other unsuitables. And after a year, I would begin a weeding process to send all unsuitables to the new colonies.

I would be so beautiful, fair and just. I think I will call it Camelot.

get rid of all politicians, then pull down all buildings that look  like they belong in the east that do not fit in with the buildings around them,

then all who do not support our fair isle would be removed from it, (IE if they will not speak English,abide by our laws & customs )

it will no longer be called (come you lot) but  camalot

You would like to have been King Solomon. As Camelot is one of my favourites  in agreement with you there.

Can't agree with 'weeding out' process. Rehabilitation is a kinder way to go. That would be more fair and just.

Immigration should have more screening. There really are people in the world who have nowhere to go, and no means of maiking a living. It is a question of helpto the hurting.

Depends what country, but in Brittian I would also stop the influx of foreigners, In Spain I would abolish bull fights, in Monaco tax foreigners more, in the Netherlands, I would declare the death sentence for all drug suppliers and 10 to 15 years for users. .... Norway and Sweden I do not know too much about.
