  1. around 4 and a half

  2. My PB in 40 yard dash is 4.6/7 something and I run my 100 meters in sub 11 seconds (11.5 secs)  (that is, during practice)

  3. Around 4.3 or 4.4 seconds, i did the math lol and factored in the fact that you didn't have running shoes and the fact that it's only 40 instead of a 100 yards.

  4. Can you be more specific in what time you run the 100?  11.1 means much more than 11.9.  Plus, the 11 second-100 m doesn't necessarily equate what time in the 40 you can run.

Factors to consider: 1) are you using starting blocks?, 2) are you wearing track shoes or regular jogging shoes?, 3) what type of surface are you running you on...a track, on the grass, etc.??, 4) How well (or poor) do you come out of the starting blocks?...there is a difference between fast and quick.  5) How fast are your reactions?

  5. i would guess about 4.5

but the only way to know for sure is to run it

  6. It depends. 40 yards = 36.5 meters which means there are 2.7 40 yard dashes in 100m. Your first 40 yards will be considerably slower than the rest of your race because you have to accelerate out of the blocks.
