If you saw your neighbours brawling in the street would you call the police?

My neighbours opposite were out in the street arguing with what looked like another mother and teenage boy earlier in a brawl worthy of the Jeremy Kyle show. (The neighbours opposite have 10 kids and it looked like most of them and mum against the other woman and teenage boy)

There was shouting, screaming and hitting going on even though one of the girls was holding a young child (aged about 4) who was clearly petrified.

Someone else called the police as they eventually turned up and diffused things.

Would you have called the police?

This is not the first time they have caused a scene in the street - they own their own home - what can I do about their anti-social behaviour?

Could you make a complaint to your local authority? Or consult your local beat police officer?

Yes I would, some people have no idea how to behave in public,

I hate it when people do that it is so unnecessary, they should keep their dirty washing and arguments behind closed doors I don't want to see or hear it.

Naaa, what for? A nice bit of street theatre? Get the video camera out and put it on You Tube. I am rather bored here and a bit of brawling would be welcome entertainment. I could lay bets on the winner with my other neigbours, make some money from these silly hags.

Yes I would, it's anti social behaviour. Saying that it sounds like good entertainment.

Yes, but the police wouldn't get there 'til the day after !

Yes I would.  The police will be able to give you the number for the local anti social behaviour task force.  They will record each incident of anti social behaviour, and you can phone them 24/7.

I would have called the police, peace was disturbed and it couldve escalated. scince this is not the first time it has happened inform the police and file a complaint if you can.
