  1. it means the gravitational pull is so strong that it bends everything even light, as a matter of fact my physics professor said that black holes sucks up everything near it because of its gravitational force that not even light can escape it and it will bend everything .

  2. You might be seeing a shelf cloud, if it is located at the front of the storm.  If not, it may be what is known as a tail cloud.  Tail clouds tend to be rather narrow, so huge and horizontal leads me to believe it is a shelf cloud.  These are fairly common, and sometimes rather scary looking, thick clouds that form where the cold outflow winds from the storm undercut the warmer and moist air that is being pulled into the storm.

  3. It signifies the fact that you are laying on your side.

  4. It could mean a lot of things.   Maybe it hasnt reached the surface or is lifting.

  5. May be that the upper portion of the cloud is moving very fast(due to strong upper level winds) and the funnel cloud of the tornado may not be touching the ground(hanging) and hence is being dragged . So it appears slant and is pointing side ways.Subsequently. when it becomes very strong, the funnel cloud may descend vertically and touch the ground somewhere.
