It's free to send sms to foreign country by Yahoo Messenger, but may tell not all countries are supported.  You may also try to see by urself.  One thing to remind you, if u can successful send about more than 4 to 5 sms without end users reply.  Yahoo will suspense the service until they reply u at least one sms.  Or maybe wait for few months more they will refresh ur credit to send again.  That's what my experience in sending free txt to overseas countries by using Y/M.
