If you shake a perfume bottle with the perfume in it, will something happen to the fragrance?

i just got the "live" by j.lo and took it with me to a friend's house. it's been in my bag with the cap on and in the box, however my bag just went flippy flippy all around the house, and my sister had the "cap" part in her hand running around with it. I sprayed a little bit on me, and it doesn't smell as fruity as it did. It at the moment smells strong. is it ok?
