  1. I don't know, but I do know something.  Whatever addiction you have in this life will follow you to the next.  If you smoke until the day you die, when you reach the other side, you will still be addicted to smoking.  If you drink till you die, you will still be addicted to drinking.  Then you will have to go through all of the pain and agony of withdrawal without your body.  Sound like fun?  That's what I was taught in my religion...doubtless there are other perspectives, but yeah.  Where it stands on the suicide scale, I'll let someone else figure out.

  2. Yes. Oreo Cookies, ice cream, candy... Coffee and tea is treated like a sin in LDS.

  3. Drinking, smoking, doing drugs, overeating, being slothful, overindulgent in other aspects of your life... they're all forms of "chronic suicide".  You're gradually killing yourself.  Chances are mostly all of us are doing it.  I know I am... it's a hard habit to break.

  4. Oh of course!

Don't touch yourself at night either, you'll be beating yourself to death!

  5. I like sharisse24's answer.  Apparently she knows everything about life and death! Holy Cow! All these people in the world who don't know about death and an after-life and she knows!

    (ROLLING MY EYES)

Also, driving your car is Suicide by your standards too.

  6. No.  Even if it is harmful to your health, it isn't suicide.  Suicide is basically murder, but with yourself as the victim.  And even if it was suicide, that's the dumbest way to go.... as far as smoking goes.

  7. ...eating fatty foods for that matter. It's a poor argument as you can see.

Reminds me of a comic I got in a book I bought in the Netherlands. It's a depressed man with a noose around his neck tied to a sapling tree--and he's watering the tree.

  8. Only if you are doing it to kill yourself.

  9. Ummmmm....yes, it does!  So does not taking proper care of one's health.

  10. Yes, suicide for the smoker and also, but more serious the murder of passive smokers.

  11. WHOA.

    whoa.

thats weird cuz it kinda is.

    :|

it's a long and drawn out suicide

but i highly doubt it'd be considered suicide.

  12. Yes it is.

Smoking is a long, drawn out form of suicide, but w/ each cigarette that you smoke you are shortening your life by a certain percentage.

What's the difference really if you drink poison and it takes few hours, smoke cigarettes and it takes a couple of decades, or shoot yourself in the head in which you will most likely die immediately?

    There really is no difference.
