  1. First - what did it cost you to make the 2 page spread?

Next, how long did it take you?

Is it a basic layout, or is it some creative piece of art?

I guess once you have answered the above questions - you have to figure out what your talent as a creative artist is worth per hour.

Then factor in what would be a price a person would pay for this 2 page spread - do you want to continue to have this market - or was it a one time thing for someone.

I guess $5.00 dollars over cost would be a reasonable cost I would pay - $10.00 for the 2 page spread - have you put the pictures in or does the person your selling to - do they have the correct size photos that you have left spaces for - 4x6 photos - etc.

I guess it would depend if you want to make a business out of this kind of work - you have to get a feel for what the market will allow you to price - if you look at the kits for $6.00 you can get to make 6 pages - that's only a buck a page - but they have to put it together themselves - and that does take time.

Hope you do real well - I know there are people out there with shoe boxes full of photos that would love to have someone put it all in a beautiful scrapbook - maybe you could put up somekind of ad up at a local craft/scrapbook store.

    good luck

I love scrapbooking - and I know how long it takes me to do a page so I can definitely see that what kind of creative work you do would definitely make a difference in price.   Good Luck

  2. I think it depends on how creative it is, how much time and effort you put into your work. I think between 6-10 dollars would be fair.
