If you spray Weedol in an area how does it not kill actual plants?

  1. Weedol will kill any plant if you spray it onto the leaves. After all, a weed is just a plant that's growing where you don't want it to. You just need to be careful to only spray it onto the plants you want to kill.


  2. I am confused by what you mean when you refer to "actual plants" -- weeds are "actual plants", they're just ones you do not happen to want to grow in a particular place.

  3. Some herbicides are selective. I don't know the active ingredient in "weedol" (I'm in Australia). Glyphosate is used commonly here. It is a systemic, non-selective herbicide. There are many others available which are selective. The maker of the product should be able to give you all the details.

  4. Weedol will kill plants, it doesn't poison the soil so you can plant immediately after spraying. A weed is a plant growing where you don't want it to. You can spray it around the woody stems of roses or shrubs, not on the leaf.
