Question:

If you spray hot sauce dilluted with water on your plants in your garden would that keep pests out and away?

Also if you watered your plants with just a hint of hot sauce would that also prevent unwanted pests as well?

  1. Works on most, not all pests. My squirrels have developed a taste for it so I gotta find a new recipe.


  2. Yes! We did this when I was a Cub. Keeps bugs and Animals away.

  3. Depends are you talking about bugs and worms or skunks and racoons? I would use an insecticide for insects and as for the animals .... make sure you keep old fruit and veggies picked and thrown way out away from the garden .That will bring them in. Moth Balls far away and will help deter animals and snakes. Just don't put them right near the garden!

  4. No pests love that actually. The best thing I'd recommend is to buy ortho bug be gone. Safe on plants keeps the pests out. Worked for my plants.  

  5. I have put a drop of liquid soap in a half full and spay bottle and sprayed it on leaves and it worked.  

  6. cayenne pepper - yes - can be sprinkled on after wetting leaves too.
