    There is no unit for that construct, other than in equations of motion. For example:

    KE = ½mv²

    v² = u² + 2ax

    where:

    v = final velocity

    u = initial velocity

    a = acceleration

    x = distance

    KE=0.5 x mass kg  x speed (m/s)^2

    unit=kg-m^2/s^2

    so v^2 has "unit" m^2/s^2
