  1. I'd love to see what is happening in the world 500 years from now .

  2. Somewhere in the future; i'd want to see how advanced technology becomes.

  3. 2000 years from now in the future.

(That is if the place is still here!)

  4. 1300 AD here in the land we call America.

  5. New York circa 1977.

New York, LA, Berlin or Paris circa 1920.

  6. Ooh thats a toughie. I think I would choose WWII (1939-1945). A weird one I know but there you go.

  7. According to the theory as i understand it, on the off chance that time travel is not expressly forbidden by the laws of physics, one could only travel into the past, as the future (by definition) is still undetermined. As for myself, i'd either choose pre-roman europe or the 16th and 17th centuries on the eastern seaboard of the north american continent. Although, human prehistory could be really fascinating too. Imagine sitting on a river bank in mesopotamia and watching the construction of a ziggurat. Or observing the competition among our direct ancestors and the other hominids they competed with early in our evolution. That's my idea of a life well spent.

  8. Normally I would say got to the future but it might be more messed up than it is now...so I would go to the past...after I had all my shots that is..

  9. I would go back to 1972, the year before I was born. I would save all my money, and invest in computer companies and the internet, and get rich. I would be 66 in 2004, and I would take a huge chunk of cash and place a bet on the red sox to win the world series.

Plus, I would send my younger self lavish gifts like cars and stuff, so he wouldn't have to work so hard in life.

    How about that?

  10. You didn't say if I could choose a time period within 114 years before my birth.

So, I would say I would want to go back to 1941 (the year my Mom was born), she had the most terribly lonely life as a baby.  I would like to go back, and be that special someone she needed as a baby, and take away all her hurt.

  11. I  think I'd go with 2000 years in the future also.  And hope there's no Morlocks hanging around!

  12. Good question first thought came to mind is 2000 years in the future, That should be enough time for our current type of government to be gone.

OR roughly give or take a few decades 2000 years into the past and maybe be able change the way government is run. Since we still run it like the romans did. Just changed the names of the characters.

  13. I was born in 1972.  So your question states that I can pick a time 114 years after my birth- so I would pick 1971.  I dont think I would want to see what the future holds, I want to be with my family- I know that sounds dorky, and I dont think I could live in an era without running water and soap.

But if your question meant 114 years before or after the year-

I would love to be a Native American in the time before white people came and ruined their way of life.  A Plains native would be my choice.  I love the horse culture, and I love how they live for the earth and each other.

  14. I would go back in time to before I fell asleep and try to figure out how I ended up in the time machine in the first place.

  15. I'd travel 200yrs ago to live in Iceland...right next to the Blue Lagoon (before it became a massive tourist attraction). It's absolutely beautiful there.

  16. England during the Elizabethan age.  A lot of facinating people were around, Shakespeare, Francis Bacon, Sir Francis Drake, etc.  I think if must have been a very interesting time indeed!

  17. One minute after, so I would not need to make any decision, wich is the same as taking one not knowing the real facts at that time...

  18. Hey Dude,

You have access to a tardus ( that's what we call time machines). If you do, it probably belongs to me. I would like it back. I have traced your address through your ISP. I know that you still reside at that address. Don't sleep tonight. Of course if you leave my Tardus out on th lawn I will not have to bother you.

    Thanking you ( in anticipation)

    The Doctor

  19. I would want to go into the future....New Age.

  20. I would choose to live in the Elizabethan age, the golden age.  Maybe a dynasty of ancient Egypt.  That is a hard one

  21. I think I would go back in time just a little bit - maybe even just back to my birth year.

To all those fancying going back to the Middle Ages, etc. keep in mind that there is not going to be indoor plumbing.  So, enjoy that.  :)

  22. I will choose 10 years from now

  23. I would go back to the late 1800s, about 1889.

I would shop like crazy and put into my will that nothing could be sold until the year 2000.

    Fun question.

  24. Either time of ancient Egypt,so I could worship cats,or,in an American Indian tribe.

  25. I'd go back to Sept 11th, 2001 and call in a bomb threat to the Twin Towers very early in the morning so that No one would be allowed in and anyone in would be evacuated. This would prevent the death of 1000's of people. May They Rest in PEACE! Also I would call the airports and say that those planes involved had a bomb in them too, Then all the flights involved that day would be grounded.

  26. I would love to go back to the mid to late 1800's; maybe have a drink in the same bar as Billy the kid. Try and find out what really happened to him.

  27. The middle ages of Europe I guess. I think I'd look great in armor. Plus, I can't think of a less politically correct time. Serving wenches? Boiling criminals in oil? War fought w swords and spears? Sign me up!
