Is the aura (visual disturbance) the most distressing symptom, and do you sometimes fear that it will not go away?

  1. I've had migraines regularly over the last 30 years.  The aura doesn't bother me much - I know it will go away.  The pain and nausea bother me more.  Sometimes I feel like my head won't ever stop hurting.
