  1. No.

McCain and Palin both oppose everything Hillary stands for.  Health care, a woman's choice, tax structure that favors the working man, alternative energy instead of oil, etc.

  2. Sure------she is a fine addition to the ticket!

    McCain/Palin '08

  3. No.  I do not support people based solely on gender and/or ethnicity/religion.

Palin does not have the same political stance as Clinton.  (Duh, one's a democrat, the other's a republican.)

To assume that democrats would switch over to republican voting just because there's a woman on the ticket is illogical.

  4. I did support Clinton and was going to vote for Obama no matter who his running mate was.  Biden is a great man and Obama's best choice.  Sarah Palin is a nice woman, but she is not in the same league as Biden.

  5. My wife and her mom made the switch before McCain picked VP especially my wife Obama is to much of a Hollywood kiss *** for her and that past that seems to get pushed a side bye the mainstream media...

  6. Being a Hillary Clinton supporter, I would have voted for McCain regardless of who he picked.^

  7. No, this was done to pander to us, and its an insult to believe that Sen. Clinton supporters are that stupid, most of us will vote for Obama not because we are crazy about him but because he supports a women;s right to choose, Obama supports equal pay for equal work, he supports ending the war in Iraq, he supports many of Senator Clinton's ideas. I hope that women are not going to vote against our own self interest just out of a warped sense of revenge because in the end its going to hurt the country. I liked what Hillary said in her speech, "Were you in this for me or the cause?" iMcCain and his lady can do a lot of damage in 4 years and they can stack the courts to end Roev Wade I do not think most people believe this can happen, but we are really close now all we need is one more supreme court justice and that's it

  8. Who would do that? Palin is in no way like Hillary

  9. No, Palin is the direct opposite of ideology than Hillary.

  10. No, I supported Hillary. It turns out that Sarah Palin is a Republican who is far right. This isn't the sort of thing people were looking for in left wing Hillary, the Democrat.

  11. h**l no.  It was Hillary or nobody.  Obama is unacceptable to me because I think he is a fake. McCain holds anti-liberal values and appears to be senile.

  12. Yes I supported Hillary because she is intelligent and has the ability to lead this country out of the dark ages of the Bush administration.  With that being said, why would anyone think that Palin would may any difference?  Palin simply does not compare to Hillary. Palin has NO experience...sorry soccer mom does NOT count! Palin embraces the republican ideas...corporate welfare and to h**l with the people....OPPOSITE of Hillary!

Simply absurd if McCain thinks Palin will draw any TRUE Hillary supporters.  This country is in a horrible shape thanks to republicans.

  13. h**l NO!!!!

  14. I am a Democrat and I voted for Hillary in the primaries but switched to McCain based on my concerns over Obama and his inexperience...I do not want another Carter.  This was before McCain announced his VP.  I have not changed my mind.  I would rather have a proven bipartisan Maverick with experience who has chosen a VP and another maverick who has more experience than Obama, than vote for the Democratic ticket with Obama.  It is the lesser of two evils.  I care about my country too much to just throw away my vote.

  15. No.  Palin's political stance is completely opposite of Clinton.  She's a hardcore conservative with less experience then Obama.  And even if she had years of experience, I don't agree with her or McCain's ideas on the war or the economy.

  16. I don't know enough about her to make a judgment about her.  I'll be watching the RNC closely.  I watched the DNC closely and I'm still undecided.

  17. No.  though I wouldn't vote for him anyway, this appointment decreases his credibility in my book.

  18. No.  I saw the strained expression on McCain's face while Palin was delivering her acceptance speech on Thursday night.  The man looked like he swallowed a jellyfish.  He was very uncomfortable with the choice and I am no more comfortable than he appeared. I could list all the reasons, but everyone else has already been stating them.. and those are my reasons  also.

  19. My grand mom is but she was leaning McCain b4 this put her over the top . This is the first GOP candidate she will ever vote for. my grandfather is rolling in his grave im sure.

  20. Yes, sure would.. and sure am!

  21. No.  Only someone that knew nothing about politics would do so.  Palin is quite the opposite of Clinton as far as beliefs go.

  22. Nope.

    McCain is against women's rights.

the VP follows The Presidents platform.

    So Why Even Ask This?

    Makes no sense.

  23. I want to see women elected to high office , so gender was one of the reasons I supported Hillary, but not the only  reason, and was only  decisive because she and Obama had the same policy positions.  Palin is more Conservative than McCain and  she has position almost directly opposite mine.  She is not  a skilled politician and has not had time to think through her policy positions means she will not be an impressive candidate and is more likely than not will delay  the time when the next women will be picked as vice president.  Even if I agreed with her I would have misgivings and I had decided that if Obama picked an inexperienced woman for VP I would vote for McCain for that reason. Women breaking glass ceilings must be exceptionally competent, not just barely acceptable.

  24. Absolutely not.

Palin takes women's issues back several steps.

I did not care about that anyway.  I like Hillary's ideas.

  25. h**l No!

  26. I did indeed support Hillary Clinton.  I decided to vote for John McCain long before he announced his choice for vice president.

  27. I'm voting for him based on the fact that he isn't Barack Obama.

  28. "No Way, No How, No McCain" - (Hillary Clinton)

  29. No, but I dont have anything hateful or bad to say about Palin, I am not bitter.

  30. I think I just peed my pants laughing so hard.
