If you suspect a man is g*y but he doesn't want you to know...?

how can you tell? What should you look for?

if you only suspect it,then he is probably not interested in you is all,or maybe shy,does not make him g*y..Some times there ain't no question about it,only thing is some guys are straight and still may act g*y,doesn't mean he is..

If he is and don't want anyone to know,that's his business,not anyone else's...

If your interested in going out with him, then ask him out,if he say no, then just go on,and leave it alone....

Sometimes a man's dress sense or the way he speaks can suggest that he's g*y, but most of the time it's quite difficult to tell. Try watching how he acts around other men; body language can subconsciously show if you find someone attractive, like touching their arm or prolonging eye contact. If he talks about male and female friends, listen to how he describes them and see if you pick up on anything. Or maybe bring homosexuality up casually in conversation; a man who's confused about his sexuality will often become very defensive.

But none of these things are guaranteed; the only way you can really find out his sexuality is to ask him, or wait until he feels ready to bring up the subject himself. He may still be unsure, or worried about how other people will react.

I am a man, and the way I know if one of my friends is g*y is simple.

We get pissed drunk. And if the acts g*y, he is g*y. If he isn't g*y he won't act g*y. This works because alcohol loses inhibitions. And a straight man will continue to act straight when drunk.

Get him to tell you if it's really important to you. Altho I don't see or understand why you would care if he is g*y.

But if you want to find out for sure just be openly accepting of g*y people. If he is in fact g*y, he will see that you would accept him as he is and would be more open to be honest with you.

Depends on how g*y he is.  Some guys are act really effeminate, and some guys you would never be able to tell.  They even get married and have kids and hang out with their guy friends and watch sports on TV and drink beer.

you should respect and not take it personal that for some reason he doesn't want to tell you.  If  he's your friend maybe he's searching for the right way to tell you, or afraid that you will not be as close with him if you find out.

Not all g*y men have "signs" or fit the stereotype, so u might not be able to tell.  One big hint though...have u ever heard of him going on any date at all? or does he even talk about his relationships with you?

Just wait for him to tell you..if he wants u to know

Tell him that it's none of your business but you suspect that he is g*y. Accept the consequences of his response since you are out of line, then live with it.

My experience is if you have that strong gut feeling, it's probably right.

As stereotypical as it sounds, I do believe that there is some truth to "effeminate men" being more likely to be g*y stereotype.

If you notice him checking out guys with that "look," if he frequently compliments men and then says "Oh I just appreciate good looks on men, but I'm straight,"  if he knows more about fashion than you, if he talks a lot of c**p about pretty girls being ugly, if you feel more masculine than him.....The list goes on.  The way how he walks, the way how he talks, etc

YES, I know that not all g*y men act like this..Sometimes, you can't tell..but if you look closely and pay attention to detail, there are signs. Even the most masculine g*y man I once met had something stereotypically g*y about him once I got to know him.

I found out this way; to this very day neither guy suspects.  A co-worker took me with him on a sing along; there was a guy there who looked at me with alarm on his face; first looking from him to me and back again.  It was then that I knew. See, it was the type of alarmed look that I'm talking about; you know like one of those "are you cheating on me looks."

Throw an apple at his crotch.  If he try to catch it by moving his legs close on it, he is not g*y.  If he tries to spread his legs, he is g*y.  If you want to make him g*y, throw an apple with all your strength at his crotch.
