If you take antibiotics can you skip a day,would it stilll be effective?

Lets say if you take antibiotics for seven days and you skip a day which you suppose to take for ten days would it still be effective

probably.... but bacteria are tough to kill sometimes so it's important to take it regularly or the infection could come back..
