If you take or have taken wellbutrin what side effects have you noticed?

Whatever you have to share is welcome. I am just curious as I have just started taking wellbutrin and I am starting to notice some things. I didn't see loss of libido as one of the side effects, but I was wondering if it still occurs. Thanks.

yes, i took Welbutrin when i wanted to quit smoking. it is the generic version of Zyban. it helps to calm the emotional cravings for a cigarette. i guess it worked great because i haven't smoked in 7 years. as for any other side effects, it didn't have any on me. i think sometimes its almost better not to read the list of side effect because sometimes we just worry too much for nothing if we do. i only read them if something really awful has happened to me, then i check the list to see if its on there. are you quitting smokes, too? if so, good luck to you.

II was on it for several months...the most severe side effect I experienced was loss of appetite, and mania....I eventually switched to effexor xr...I actually had a higher s*x drive (due to the mania)...my advice to you is to pay attention to warning signs and follow up with your doc

I took wellbutrin for awhile and had to quit. My side affects were serious loss of libido, weight gain, and I started getting really mean after about a month. I then started to notice my head started feeling really weird. Everyone is different so your affects may be good ones. Dont take only my word. Pay attention to what your body tells you. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT.
